Unfortunately, I've not been fishing since opening day of catch and release in our trout parks. Had a good time and caught a few (none of any size). Roaring River was more crowded than I expected; but I'd never been there before on the first day.
Right now I'm getting ready to go to Florida for a week. We're going to be crowded, but if I can find room for a rod and reel I'll take one.
Big news for me is I've reserved a trip to Kodiak Island for a 6 day fishing trip. This will be my first stay at a lodge and I'm looking forward to it. Got to start researching what flies to tie and planning air travel. I've fished a little in Alaska while on a land and sea tour, but only had a few hours both times.
